Before and after photos, with the treatment they belong to.
Photos stored beside the treatment they document, inside the patient record where they belong. Not in a folder on someone's phone, not in a separate app, not somewhere you have to remember to look.
Exactly where you will look for them.
Before and after photos are linked directly to the treatment appointment they document. Open the record, open the treatment, and the photos are right there alongside the notes and consent form. No hunting through a camera roll, no separate file storage to manage.

Before
After
- Only your team can see them. Photos are never shared with other clinics or accessible outside your own Aesta account.
- Stored on UK infrastructure. Your clinic's images stay close to home, inside UK rules.
- A record of who uploaded each photo. Every image carries the name of the team member who added it and when.
- Exportable for subject access requests. If a patient asks for their data, photos can be exported alongside the rest of their record.
Private to your clinic, built with GDPR in mind.
Photographs of patients are sensitive data. Aesta keeps them inside your clinic's records, seen only by your team, stored on UK infrastructure, and handled in a way that supports your obligations under UK GDPR.
The details that matter.
- Upload from a phone, tablet or desktop, directly inside the appointment record
- Photos are linked to the specific treatment, not just the patient in general
- View before and after side by side within the record
- Every image shows who uploaded it and when
- Stored on UK infrastructure, not on personal devices
- Exportable as part of a patient data request at any time
What clinics ask about before and after photos.
Are photos shared outside our clinic?
No. Photos are private to your clinic and seen only by your own team. They are never shared with any other practice, used for marketing, or used for anything beyond your own patient records.
Can we compare before and after in the same view?
Yes. Before and after photos taken for the same treatment can be viewed side by side within the patient record, making it straightforward to review outcomes and discuss progress with the patient.
What happens to photos if we leave Aesta?
Your photos are your data. You can export them at any time, and if you ever decide to leave Aesta you can request that all images are deleted from our systems. We do not hold onto data you want removed.
Photos where they belong, private where they should be.
Tell us about your clinic and we will show you how Aesta handles patient photos in practice.
